Green Bank Science Center

Something for Everyone

The Green Bank Science Center has something for everyone: interactive exhibits about science and technology, fun programs and activities, and outstanding tours of the Robert C. Byrd Green Bank Telescope. In addition to providing educational experiences for our visitors, we create field trip experiences that meet national science education standards and state-based science learning goals.

Out-of-this-world Gifts and Treats

When visiting the Green Bank Science Center, be sure to stop by our Starlight Cafe for great food at reasonable prices. Group meals are available with advance notice. Please call 304-456-2361 for group meal details. The Galaxy Gift Shop offers a wide variety of NRAO memorabillia, games, science kits, apparel and more!
